Quetta: Yet another case has surfaced about the high-ups of the government owing money to the national exchequer.
According to a private news channel, more than 40 former ministers and members of the parliament have been found to be defaulters of about 0.2 million rupees.
The list of the defaulters has been sent to the chief secretary who is bound to take relevant action to recover the amount.
It is to be mentioned here that it was found in a recent report relating to general elections that several renowned politicians are also defaulters of their utility bills.
The situation poses a serious dent to these dignitaries and calls for strict procedure of scrutiny to assure that people with clean past become future leaders of the country.
