Rawalpindi: Former president of Pakistan, General (retd) Pervez Musharraf has said that he can change the destiny of the country if he is voted by the ‘overwhelming majority of the country.
Talking to a private news channel, the former chief of the country armed forces said that Pakistan is passing through its worst time and it is a do or die’ situation for him. According to him, this is the right time to stand up for change.
It may be mentioned here that Gen. Musharraf has received mixed response, most of which is against him, since his arrival from UAE. An unexpectedly low number of people welcomed the APML chief while he also faced a ‘show attack’ for the first time by a lawyer in the court.
Nomination papers filed
Gen. (retd) Pervez Musharraf’s nomination papers have been filed for NA48 by his counsel Ahmed Raza Khusuri in Islamabad.
