Hyderabad: At least three activists of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) were killed while another sustained injuries after unidentified armed men opened fire at the party’s sector office in Hyderabad, second largest city of Pakistan’s Sindh province.
According to sources, unidentified men riding motorbikes opened fire on the office on Sunday, leaving behind four people injured out of which three of them succumb to injuries on their way to hospital.
The bodies have been shifted to a local hospital in the city while several party workers gathered outside the office and hospital after the incident.
Reacting on the incident, MQM’s Zonal In-charge Muhammad Shareef said that those elements who wanted to spread anarchy are involved in the firing incident.
