Karachi: The World Bank has approved $400 million grant for promotion of education in the Sindh province of Pakistan.
According to the World Bank’s declaration, the grant will be provided for the increase in the literacy rate and the number of children going schools.
The bank also stated that the flood-affected schools will be rebuilt through grant as well as opportunities will also be provided to the teachers for advance training.
The bank says the grant will be a concessional loan which will be returned in 30 years.
