Islamabad: Pakistan Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf will deliver a farewell address to the nation on Saturday, the Prime Minister House’s spokesman said on Friday.
Sources said that draft of the PM’s speech has been prepared. In his speech PM would highlight the successes of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) government during the 5 year rule.
“The PM will address to the nation at 8pm on Saturday,” the spokesman said.
It is the first time in the history of the country that a democratic government will complete its five years term.
The sources added that he was also likely to announce the care taker set up if a consensus is reached between the opposition and government in this regard.
