New Delhi: A hockey series between Pakistan and India has been cancelled, Indian media reported on Friday.
Pakistan hockey team was scheduled to visit India to play five matches in April this year.
However, Indian local media says the country’s ministry for foreign affairs has called off upcoming India-Pakistan hockey series in April.
Though Pakistan lose to India in a pool match in Sultan Azalan Shah Hockey Cup earlier this week but the green shirts had defeated the arch-rival by 5-4 to clinch the title of the Asian Men’s Hockey Champions Trophy 2012 in Al Rayyan Stadium, Qatar.
