Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday said that the miscreants involved in Joseph Colony incident, where more than 150 houses were torched by an angry Muslim mob, will not be excused.
While chairing a meeting for the rehabilitation of the Christians of Jospeh colony, CM Punjab directed the authorities to deal strongly against all those people, who are trying to create hindrance in the rehabilitation of the colony.
“This incident is a black spot for Pakistan,” Sharif said adding that the perpetrators of the incident should be brought to justice as soon as possible.
The Chief Minister was told by the authorities that almost 27 people have been arrested while the police has continued its raids to arrest all other people involved in the incident.
