Rawalpindi: The 158th Corps Commanders’ Conference of Pakistan army was concluded here at General Headquarters on Thursday.
The meeting held at the time when Pakistan’s internal security majorly in Karachi, the financial hub of the country, is at its worst. Around 50 people were killed and over 140 injured in a car bombing in Sunday blast in Karachi’s Abbas Town.
According the Inter Service Public Relation (ISPR), the meeting chaired by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani under took a comprehensive review of internal and external security environment of the country.
The commanders also discussed the professional military matters in the meeting, the ISPR added.
