Islamabad: Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zartdari is likely to address the nation on March 13, 2013 as the country is passing through crucial period before elections, facing deadly blasts in Karachi and Quetta, two provincial capitals of Pakistan’s Sindh and Balochistan provinces.
According to sources, the president is likely to announce the name of the interim prime minister and the schedule of next elections.
Earlier, according to media reports, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President has summoned the party meeting on Wednesday to finalize the names of the interim PM to be forwarded by opposition leader in national Assembly, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
The surfaced from the PML-N include Justice (retd) Shakirullah Jan, Justice (retd) Nasir Aslam Zahid and Justice (retd) Ajmal Mian.
