The Lahore’s district and session judge heard the dual nationality case against former lawmakers Amna Battar, Rana Asif and ex-MNA Shehnaz Sheikh.
Despite the court’s order, the former lawmaker did not appear before the judge. Amna’s counsel told the court that his client had a doctorate degree, adding that she could not appear before the court as she was in US.
On this, the court maintained its non-bailable arrest warrant of Amna and ordered him to appear before it on March 2.
