Peshawar: At least 19 people including women have been killed and five others injured after a wedding bus fell into canal in the suburb area of Peshawar, a metropolitan of Pakistan.
According to sources, the bus, which was going for a wedding ceremony, fell into a canal on Charsadda road, killing 19 people and injuring five others. Several people are also missing as the water flow in the canal was on rise when the incident occurred.
At least 30 people were on board including women and children at the time of the accident. The bus has been pulled out from the canal and the rescue officials are searching for more people.
The bodies and injured have been shifted to a local hospital in the city.
