Quetta: At least two suspects of a banned outfit were killed and four others arrested during a targeted operation conducted by the Frontier Corps (FC) in Pakistan’s northwestern city of Quetta.
The FC having special police powers conducted targeted operation in Nawankali, the outskirt of the city.
FC sources said that the suspects opened fire on the force during the operation, killing seven soldiers.
After the exchange of fire the FC killed two suspects and held four others, the sources said and added that arms and explosives were also recovered from the possession.
The suspects have been shifted to undisclosed location for further investigation.
