Quetta: Majlis-i-Wahdat-ul-Muslameen (MWM) Central Deputy Secretary Allama Ameen Shaheedi on Tuesday said that the sit-in along with bodies of the 89 blast victims on Alamadar road would continue until the success of negotiations with the government delegation.
Addressing a news conference in Quetta, Shaheedi said one of their demands to replace Inspector General Police Balochistan had been fulfilled.
Expressing his respect for the members of the parliamentary committee formed to hold negotiations with the participants of the sit-in, Allama Shaheedi said no decision would be made which would hurt the sentiments of people.
The families of the Kirani road tragedy in which 89 members of the Hazara community were killed are demanding that the army be given control of Quetta. They have been staging a sit-in alongside the bodies of their loved ones since Sunday.
