Karachi: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif on Friday announced to participate in the All Parties Conference of Awami National Party (ANP), organised to devise a plan to hold talks withTehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
Talking to media during his visit to interior Sindh, the PML-N president said that the party has made a clear stance on the offer made by the TTP spokesman asking for PML-N president, Jamat-i-Islami Ameer Munawar Hussain and Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam chief of his own faction Maulana Fazlur Rehman to act as guarantors in the peace talks with the Pakistani government.
“Opponents are mulling over to launch a joint attack against the PML-N but they will be defeated,” he said adding that he don’t know why people were working against his party.
Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT) are after the vote bank of PML-N but instead of their efforts, the party is making progress day by day, he said.
He further added that the party has gained a good ground in Sindh and would deploy its candidates in the province.
