Peshawar: The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) says it is ready to hold talks with the government and security forces.
In an interview to DAWN.COM, TTP spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan said that his organisation was ready for negotiations if Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman and Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) Amir Syed Munawar Hasan guarantee the talks.
Ehsan also demanded the government to release its leaders, including Maulvi Omar and Muslim Khan, before the talks.
Meanwhile, he held the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) responsible for the murders of Mufti Abdul Majeed Deenpuri and Mufti Muhammad Saleh, saying the TTP would avenge the killings.
