Quetta: Complete shutter down and wheel-jammed strike is being observed in parts of Balochistan against the governor rule.
All the markets are closed and traffic is thin on the road in several cities. Schools and offices also witnessed low attendance.
Major political parties of the province including Jamiat Uleam-e-Islam, BNP Awami and few member of Pakistan People’s Party have supported the strike and demanded the central to end the rule in the province.
Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf imposed the governor following the four-day long protest of Hazara community with the bodies of their 86 men who were killed in the blasts in Quetta.
