Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lawmaker Umair Hayat Rokhri tore apart the report by the commission over new provinces in the country, when it was tabled in the National Assembly’s session on Friday.
Pakistan Muslime League-Quaid (PML-Q)member and Federal Minister Shahjahan Yousuf and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl’s (JUI-F) Laiq Mohammad Khan also staged walkout from the session after the ruling Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) member Arif Aziz Sheikh tabled the report in the lower house.
Both the leaders said that they were staging walkout for not including the name Hazara province in the report.
Moreover, Fata lawmaker Munir Orakzai also protested against not including the name of his region in the list of new provinces.
