Quetta: Quetta Yakjehti Council leader Qayyum Changezi has announced to end a 4-day long protest of Hazara Community at Quetta’s Alamdar road against the killing of their over 80 people.
Changezi, while addressing the protesting crowed, announced to end the protest and said that their demands had been met.
Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf arrived here in Quetta and met with the leaders of the community and other provincial leaders. The PM ensured the community that their demands would be fulfilled.
Later, the PM forwarded a summery to President Asif Ali Zardari to impose Governor’s rule in the province. The president Asif Ali Zardari after midnight on Sunday signed the summery to impose Governor’s rule in Balochistan.
Meanwhile, Majlis-e-Wahadatul Muslimeen has also announced to end country wide protests.
