Los Vegas: SpareOne has introduced upgraded version the world’s only emergency mobile phone named SpareOne Plus at CES 2013 currently happening in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This phone only has the basic functions of a normal phone such as listening, call and as a flashlight, but it is most useful to bring along when traveling, exploring.
The phone operates with a AA battery, the manufacturer presented together with a battery Energizer Ultimate Lithium, as they will help battery standby time of up to 15 consecutive years.
SpareOne Plus use the GSM network, there are two options-band 850/1900MHz or 900/1800MHz supports. In addition, the machine can still connect to emergency numbers if the SIM card is not inserted.
Moreover, the manufacturer XPAL says new version adds built-in GPS tracking so your loved ones that have power can use an app or a website to see where you are and hopefully learn that you’re out of the danger zone. It also adds voice confirmation of each number you dial so that, if you’re in the dark, you can hear the phone say “3-1-1″ when you hit those buttons.
Products will be available in early 2013, for $99, double the $50 SpareOne.
