Quetta: Five people, including an FC official, were killed and 18 others injured on Saturday after armed assailants attacked a passenger train in Mach area of Bolan district, Balochistan.
Sources said the train, Jaffar Express, was coming from Rawalpindi.

Rescue workers shifted the bodies and the injured to Civil Hospital Quetta.
The militants, who were believed to have attacked the train from nearby mountains, killed a Frontier Corps (FC) official and four passengers.
The train, which was stopped after the attack, has now reached Quetta under strict security.
The engine of the train was also damaged in the attack.
