Islamabad: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Friday expressed anger over Sindh Inspector General (IG) Police and Sindh Advocate General for not appearing before the court in Shahazeb Khan Murder case.
A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry began hearing of the suo motu case.
During the hearing, the chief justice ordered the IG to appear before the court till 12 PM and warned that the IG would lose his job if the murderers were not arrested till evening.
The additional IG told the apex court that raids were being carried out to arrest two alleged murderers Siraj Tallpur and Shahrukh Jatoi.
The CJ remarked that the father one accused was scene giving interview to a television channels but no one was there to take notice. “Those who helped the culprits to flee the country should also be arrested.”
