Karachi: During past 24 hours at least seven people fall prey to the current violence in the port city, police sources said.
The sources said that unknown armed persons fired on a car in Essa-nagri area of Gulshan-e-Iqbal town resulting two dead on the scene. A pedestrian also became victim of the incident who later died at hospital during treatment, the sources added.
According to Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Asim Qaimkhani, the incident seemed to be result of personal enmity.
Another person died due to firing in Baldia town.
Earlier police recovered three dead bodies, packed in gunny bags, from Sher Shah, Netty Jetty bridge and Baldia town. None of the three could be identified, said the sources.
