Islamabad: The government of Pakistan has once again decided to suspend mobile services in several parts of the country in order to avert any terror activity on the occasion of Chehlum of Imam Hussain (R.A).
According to sources, all provinces will be affected from the suspension of the mobile services. At least six districts of Sindh province and 18 districts across Punjab would be affected by the situation.
“The services will remain suspended in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Mirpurkhas, Khairpur, Nowshero Feroz areas of Sindh,” they said.
The areas of Lahore, Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Jhehlum, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Jhang and Multan will be affected in Punjab province of the country.
Nine districts of Balochistan and six districts of Gilgit Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhua and Pakistan administered Kashmir would also be affected by the situation.
“There will no mobile services in Khuzdar, Zhob, Loralai, Bolan, Sibi, Naseerabad and Jhal Magsi districts of Balochistan while Peshawar, Kohat, Hangu, Tank, DI Khan, Bannu of KPK will also be affected by the situation.”
The services will remain suspended from 8 am to 10 pm on the Chehlum.
