New Delhi: “We expect a very tough play from Pakistan but we are to keep them in pressure from the very beginning to ensure an equal opposition in the series”.
These views were expressed by Indian cricket team captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni while speaking about the most anticipated series of his team with arch-rivals Pakistan beginning tomorrow (Tuesday).
Dhoni said that not individual effort but teamwork can assure victory in the event. “The team feels deeply the absence of star batsman Sachin Tendulkar,” he said.
He opined that ‘home ground advantage’ is no more beneficial in international Cricket.
The media-friendly captain said changes in the team have been made keeping in view the requirements. He dispelled the impression that the career of Herbhajan Singh and Zaheer Khan has met its end.
Dhoni said small argument in the ground is a matter of routine in the game.
