Karachi: Doctor Aafia-movement lighted candles at Karachi press club on Monday night to express solidarity with Connecticut school victims.
At least 27 people including a 20-year old attacker were killed after a massive shootout at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown city of Connecticut, a state of United States of America.
Participants of the movement gathered at the press club of the port city today. They expressed their sorrow for innocent children and commended teachers of the school who were killed during the carnage while saving the innocent children.
The participants of the movement lighted candles to show their solidarity with the victims’ families. They also urged US government to release Dr. Afia.
