Islamabad: A Pakistan military court of appeal has rejected the appeals of ex-army men convicted in a 2009 attack on the Pakistan Army Headquarters (GHQ), upholding their punishments.
The military court in Rawalpindi had awarded death sentence to a former soldier, Aqeel alias Dr Usman, over an attack in 2009 on the Pakistan Army Headquarters (GHQ).
It also awarded prison terms to the seven others.
Eleven soldiers were killed in the attack when 10 heavily armed militants, wearing suicide vests, stormed the headquarters.
