Lahore: As many as six matches were played on the fourth day of the ongoing Faysal Bank Twenty20 tournament where Lions, Panthers, Falcons, Wolves, Zebras and Dolphins won their matches.
In the third match of the fourth day, Abbottabad Falcons led by former Pakistan captain Younis Khan outclassed Multan Tigers by seven runs. The match was played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
Falcons, who were forced to bat first after losing the toss set a minimum target of 106 but eventually proved out to be a mammoth total for the opponents. Younis Khan was the only batsman who stuck at the crease scoring 35 of 37 at the strike rate of 94.59.
In reply, Tigers were all out for just 99 runs, Naved Yasin the only batter who showed bit resilience and scored 37 at the strike rate of 100.
Falcons’ Ahmed Jamal was awarded the player of the match as he took four wickets giving just 21 runs in his quota of four overs.
