Seoul: Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari has said that South Korea has undergone massive development in short little time and Pakistan wanted to benefit from its experiences.
Addressing at a luncheon hosted in his honour by the South Korean President Lee Myung-Bak, President Zardari said that the motorway was a symbol of Pakistan-South Korea friendship.
He invited the South Korean businessmen to invest in Pakistan and said that the country was was safe for foreign traders and investors.
“The volume of bilateral trade is one billion at the moment…we want to extend it to 5 billion,” the president said.
He said that Pakistan was facing numerous problems due to the Afghan war, adding that they were keen eliminate the terrorism from its roots.
Lee Myung-Bak said that democracy is growing in Pakistan, adding that Pakistani nation could hope for better future under the leadership of President Zardari.
He said that the minorities were being provided protection in Pakistan.
