Lahore: Peshawar Panthers on Tuesday set a massive 185 runs target against Hyderabad Hawks in a group B match of Faysal Bank T-20 Cup.
The Panthers skipper Akbar Badshah won the toss and elected to bat first. Peshawar after loosing a first wicket in a very first over of the game, batted well and scored 74 runs for second wicket.
Nawaz Ahmed’s 53 and the skippers 39 not out took the panthers to a comfortable 185 runs for the the loss of five wickets in 20 overs. Shoaib Khan senior and Iftikhar Ahmed also batted well and scored 30 and 27 runs respectively.
Hyderabad Hawks’ Kashif Bhatti, Reham Nizamuddin and Rizwan Ahmed took one wicket each.
