Lahore: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has approved raise in the prices of gas which may come in effect from the 1st of January 2013.
A summary in this regard has been sent to the federal petroleum ministry. The decision, in addition to domestic consumers, will affect CNG users and industries of the country.
The Sui Southern Gas Company had requested 6.14 percent while Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd. 9.87 percent raise in the tariff.
