Karachi: Huge ammunition and bombs were confiscated from a factory located in Karachi in a grand operation of Rangers’ personnel on Saturday.
The six-hour operation was conducted in the Manghopir area of Karachi as over 2,000 personnel stormed into the factory and took into possession large stock of ammunition. An alleged suspect, said to be an activist of a banned outfit, is among the six suspects nabbed from the scene.
The prolonged action enraged people of the locality who pelted stones on the security personnel.
Sindh Rangers deem the action a big success and are awaiting clues in various terrorist activities in the city as they expect revealing of important information from the nabbed activist.
Manghopir is said to be the stronghold of terrorists and has had involvement in various incidents in the province.
