Rawalpindi: General Khalid Shameem Wynne Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) who is on an ongoing official visit to Germany for Second Round of Defence and Security Dialogue, called on General Volker Wieker, Chief of Defence Staff Germany.
According to Inter Services Public Relation of Pak Army, Chairman remained with him for some time and discussed matter related to mutual cooperation and professional interests between the two Armed Forces. On his arrival at Ministry of Defence he was presented a guard of honour by a smartly turned out contingent of Bundeswehr (German Army).
Earlier Chairman met members of German parliamentary Defence Committee, Dr. Thomas de Maiziere, Minister of Defence and Secretary Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Chairman also highlighted the security issues faced by Pakistan while delivering a talk in an interactive session at German Council of Foreign Relations, a prominent think tank of Germany.
According to ISPR’s official release tomorrow on Friday, General Khalid Shameem Wynne will address the student officers and faculty members at German Command and Staff College, Hamburg.
