Karachi: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf Tuesday took notice of the new wave of violence in the two main cities of the Sindh province, Karachi and Hyderabad.
At least nine people have been killed in Karachi, a metropolitan of Pakistan, on Tuesday while four people have been shot dead in the second largest city of the Sindh province, Hyderabad.
Chairing a meeting of top PPP brass in Sindh, PM Ashraf expressed his concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in the two main cities of the province and said that the security officials must ensure the safety of the people across Sindh.
On the direction of PM Ashraf, the chief Minister Sindh also telephoned IG Sindh Police and DG Ranger and directed them to take suitable measures in order to save the lives of the innocent people.
