London: Khyber Pakhtunkhua (KPK) Information Minister Iftikhar Hussain Monday visited peace activist Malala Yousafzai at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
Talking to media via telephone from the hospital, the information minister said that he met Malala Yousafzai and she was progressing quickly.
Hussain said that the hospital director briefed him regarding the education activist health and assured that the peace activist was not facing any mental illness.
“Malala will be able to recover in almost three to four weeks,” Hussain hoped.
“I am visiting Queen Elizabeth hospital on the behalf of the whole nation,” he said.
He futher said that he conveyed messages of good wishes from Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, President Asif Ali Zardari, Army chief Ashfaq Pervez Kayani and ANP Chief Asfandyar Wali to the 14-year old peace activist.
