Peshawar: The unofficial moon sighting committee of Qasim Khan Mosque in Peshawar Tuesday announced that the Eid ul-Adha moon was not sighted in the vicinity of the city.
According to media reports, Mufti Shahabuddin Popalzai said that no evidences were received and therefore the Eid would be celebrated in the province on October 27.
Pakistan’s central Ruet-e-Hilal committee will meet tomorrow to sight the Zil Hajj moon in the country. The meeting would be presided by the committee chairman Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman.
