Islamabad: Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar has said that Russia is in favour of Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline project.
Briefing Senate’s Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs on Friday, she said that Russia and Pakistan have same views on Afghanistan. She told the committee that speaker of Russian parliament would soon visit Pakistan.
The minister said that Moscow was also supporting Pakistan for the membership of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
To a question regarding recent visit of UN delegation on missing persons, she said that the UN delegation compiled a positive report.
She said that Pakistan was taking issue of human rights as a challenge. The standing committee passed a resolution, condemning non-implementation of  Pakistan-India visa agreement.
