Dubai: Setting an example of brutality, an Egyptian mother has tortured her baby to death with the help of her lover.
Police carried out investigation after a hospital in Alexandria governorate in Egypt reported the death of the baby.
“The police received a report claiming that three-year-old Ibrahim Mustafa was rushed to the hospital with internal bleeding and multiple injuries to his face and body,” Emirates247 reports.
Further investigations revealed the gory details. It is alleged that the 22-year-old woman went to meet her boyfriend along with her son. As she was sitting in a compromising position with the man, the toddler began crying. Initially, she tried pacifying the kid. But when his cries became uncontrollable, her lover tied the kid with a rope and began beating him up. She then, allegedly, burnt the child threatening him not to reveal what he saw. Even when that failed to pacify the child, the duo suffocated the boy with her scarf. And then rushed him to the hospital claiming he had met with a car accident.
The duo has been arrested and referred to Public Prosecution. The man allegedly has a criminal history.
