Karachi: Ufone is a funny cellular phone network not because of its laugh-bursting TV commercials but sometimes its services create funny situation that make everyone laugh.
Ufone SMS packages must be economical but SMS via its network fails to reach the person on time. It does not mean the message takes 10 to 15 minutes to reach in the inbox of receiver but it takes long time up to 15 days.
Qamar Hussain has a funny story
I have sent a reminder invite of my wedding ceremony to my friend, who though did not come, but reply to me after two week, “did your SMS means you are going to get married?”
I replied to my friend that I had sent him two weeks ago but you got now.
He said Ufone Zindabad satirically and greeted me for marriage.
Sarah Hassan Chand Raat Greeting
I am surprised I got SMS of my friend Sarah after 12 days in which she said “Chand Raat” Mubarak but I did not reply to her in exchange because I have to wait for next year to greet her on the occasion of Chand Raat.
I know it was my poor network that often disturbs me for bad connectivity.
Raza Hassan and his cousin
Bhai saab are you okay sending my Eid greeting SMS after 15 days, Raza Hassan send SMS to his cousin.
Cousin responds: Actually I send you SMS on the occasion of Eid but it might be stuck up somewhere in the middle thanks to Ufone.
This is a service quality of cellphone companies in Pakistan.
You must have experienced this situation with your cellular phone networks. Please do share with us.
