Karachi: Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) has decided to part with Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in National Assembly and Sindh’s provincial assembly after having reservations over the implementation of new local bodies system across Sindh.
Addressing a press conference in Karachi, PML-F leader Imtiaz Sheikh said that the party decided to resign from Sindh government while MNAs and MPAs also submitted their resignations after the implementation of LG Ordinance without consultation.
“The PPP government did not bother to ask other allies over the ordinance and implemented the ordinance in a hurry.”
Sheikh said that if Sindh was a single province then why there were two types of local systems.
“Implementation of the ordinance is a conspiracy to divide the province.”
It is to be mentioned here that except MQM, other PPP allies including Awami National Party (ANP), Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) have rejected the implementation of new local bodies system across the province and demanded government to immediately withdraw the decision.
