New York: Pakistan ace tennis player Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and his partner Jean-Julien Rojer have won their quarter-final of the US Open on Wednesday, beating US pair of brothers Ryan and Christian Harrison 6-2 6-3.
The match was earlier disrupted by rain on the Grand Stand of the USTA National Tennis Center in New York.
The winning duo was leading 2-2 in the second set when the match resumed on Wednesday.
Qureshi and Rojer will either face US brothers Bob and Mike Bryan, or unseeded Julien Benneteau and Nicolas Mahut in the semi-finals.
This will be third time Qureshi appear in US Open semi-finals consecutively. Previously, he appeared with former Indian partner Rohan Bopanna and reached the final in 2010.
