Karachi: A Karachi citisen on Tuesday filed a constitutional petition in Sind High Court (SHC) seeking contempt proceeding against provincial Information Minister Sharjeel Memon for giving statements against the judiciary.
According to The News Tribe correspondent, the petitioner has prayed to the court that the ministers had given statement against the apex judiciary. He furthers said that the statements against the judiciary by the minister were contempt of court.
He argued that contempt proceeding should be initiated against the minister and he should be disqualified from holding his office.
