Islamabad: The parents of Rimsha Masih, an accused of blasphemy, on Saturday filed an application in Islamabad’s local court seeking permission to change their counsel.
During hearing of the case, Irshad Bibi, the mother of the girl, requested additional session judge Islamabad to allow Tahir Naveed Advocate instead of Anjum Riaz Advocate to defend the case of her daughter.
The judge adjourned the hearing of the case till September 3 to seek report of investigation officer’s confirmation regarding the application.
