Karachi: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) MPA, Taimoor Talpur on Friday demanded Chief Minister Sindh to probe the allegations of smuggling and corruption on PPP MPA Ali Mardan Shah.
In a letter written to Chief Minister Sindh, Qaim Ali Shah, Talpur alleged his party member of smuggling goods to neighbouring country India.
He further alleged that instead of providing jobs to party workers, Shah had always given benefits to his relatives and friends.
On the other hand, Shah denied all allegations and said that he did not want to earn money through corruption and smuggling.
“I am not so hungry to earn money through smuggling,” he said.
“The people of Umarkot knows how clear my character is,” Shah said adding that the allegations were non sense.
The Chief Minister Sindh had formed a five member committee led by PPP leader Agha Siraj Durrani to investigate the matter and submit the report to CM Sindh.
