Karachi: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Thursday visited Jamia Darul Uloom Karachi, one of the biggest seminary in Karachi, run by Mufti Muhammad Rafi Usmani.
Talking to media representatives at Darul Uloom Karachi, Khan condemned the Rangers raid at the seminary and said that such actions would not create good impression.
“Darul Uloom Karachi has played an important role in spreading the teachings of Islam.”
Khan further said that the seminary had no links with any terror elements as they had always urged for peace and harmony among Muslims.
He also condemned the terror attack on Shiites in Naran area of Pakistan and said that the attacks were conspiracy against religious harmony of the country.
Earlier, many political leaders including PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif and PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain had condemned Rangers’ raid at the Madrissa Darul Uloom, Karachi.
