Islamabad: The Attorney General of Pakistan, Irfan Qadir on Wednesday, raised objection over the bench hearing review petition against the judgment of the Supreme Court in NRO implementation case.
The five-member bench of the apex court headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa was hearing the review petition.
During today’s heaing, the AG objected that the same bench was hearing the review petition which gave the judgment on July 12. He demanded the apex court to adjourn the hearing of the petition after Eid-ul-Fitr and form a larger bench for the hearing.
Qadir said that a 16-member bench head the case of misbehave with the chief justice therefore a larger bench should hear this case.
“That was a different issue,” Justice Khosa remarked. Later the court rejected the AG’s plea to change the bench.
