Quetta: At least three Balochistan Constabulary (BC) officials were killed and 10 others injured after a blast hit the constabulary vehicle in Turbat, a city of Pakistan’s province Balochistan.
According to sources, the BC vehicle was targeted through a planted Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Shapak area of Turbat, killing 3 BC officials and wounding 10 others.
“The Levis and other law enforcement agencies cordoned-off the area and started search operation for the culprits,” they said.
It is to be mentioned here that Balochistan has been hit by an insurgency after the murder of slain Baloch leader Akber Bugti. Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that friend and enemy states of Pakistan are working against the interests of Pakistan in Balochistan.
