London: Hoping to repeat its good performance in third match of London 2012, Pakistan will face host Great Britain this evening.
The victory against English team could make Green Shirts way to Olympics semi final.
Sources in Pakistan dressing room say team’s morale is on sky after beating Argentina by 2-0 and they look excited to crush GB team at its home ground.
The Team GB has crushed the Green Shirts at Azlan Shah Hockey Cup in Malaysia. It is expected that English players would try to repeat the history in today’s match.
While practicing at Riverside Stadium, Pakistan team is thinking about adopting Asian Style of hockey in its match, sources said.
“However, any final decision regarding game strategy will be made just before the match beginning.”
With having 4 points in its hand after a draw against Spain and a win against Argentina, Pakistan team management is hopeful that the team would reach Semis after beating GB team.
On the other side, English team is also looking for putting up a great performance this evening. It has a draw match against South Africa and a win over Argentina with 4-1 in London 2012.
Team GB will also be enjoying home support of the crowd which would boost their morale while putting additional pressure on the Green Shirts.
