Islamabad: Director General Inter Services Intelligence (DG ISI) Lt General Zaheerul Islam will meet his US counterpart, CIA Chief General David Petraeus on August 2, report said on Sunday.
Defence and security matters including cooperation between both the spy agencies in war against terror will be deeply discussed during the meeting which is scheduled to be held at Langley on the picturesque banks of the Potomac River in the suburbs of Washington, Pakistani television Geo News reports.
The meeting and visit of General Zaheer was earlier called off unilaterally by Pakistan two months ago during adverse developments in the ties of the two countries. General Zaheer will stay in the US capital for one day.
