Lahore: Former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani in his first media appearance since his disqualification by the Supreme Court of Pakistan pretended to be calm and happy but forgot the date while giving an autograph to a lady.
Speaking to media at the Lahore airport on Thursday, Gilani said that he longed for prestigious departure from the prime minstership and he succeeded in doing so.
The former premier said he was declared disqualified by the court not by the people of Pakistan.
He said he also wanted supremacy of the Parliament and his wish was fulfilled. After media talk Mr Gilni left the airport in an imported car.
