Islamabad: The solicitor of Malik Riaz Hussain, Zahid Hussain Bukhari, on Sunday claimed that his client, the main character behind Arslan Iftikhar graft case, has decided to return Pakistan although his doctors have forbidden him to travel due to his severe health condition.
Talking to Geo News, Bukhari said that although doctors directed his client to avoid travelling but he would consult his doctor on Monday and then return back to his homeland.
Bukhari further said that the return of his client was due to the respect and confidence on the fair and independent judiciary of Pakistan.
“Malik Riaz will submit his testimony to Supreme Court within 2-4 days,” he added.
Earlier, on June 6, Riaz Hussain’s solicitor told the honourable three member bench that their client was in abroad for his medical treatment.
